Domestic Violence

Violence is always the responsibility of the individual.

Response is the root of responsibility, so the essence is that we have ultimately as individuals a challenge to master how we respond to life’s challenges and brutality.

life is a school that is designed to challenge us and refine us.

You can look at this journey as shamanic initiations if you wish because that would be accurate. Ultimately it is about responsibility.

When violence is expressed in a home bound relationship, it is termed domestic violence or abuse.

But violence lives in us as individuals, it’s a vibrational illness in the psyche and emotions bourne of trauma.

It is gender neutral, in the sense that it lives easily in both sexes.

In a practical sense it is a boundary line within a person, when reached, the rational resources are exhausted and violence becomes the last available option to resolve the stunted emotions, and to discharge the pent up energies.

When you meet violence in a person, you literally meet the developmental boundary of their emotional capacity.

That capacity is always showing us a volume of unresolved energies or emotion, or aspects of the mind, that have experienced trauma.

This is why reform of violent offenders is difficult.

Responsibility for growth and healing truly lies within the individual, yes we can build communities and cultures that support them, but healing is a path for the self.

As an energy healer and holistic therapist of many years, I have dealt with mainly victims of violence.

In approaching this problem we can rely on the fact that our energetic hardware ( bodies and auras) remain constant.

They can be trusted as tools to help unwind trauma.

Perpetrators and receivers can all benefit from releasing trauma, blockages, held tensions and ideas ( mindsets and patterns of thinking).

Trauma binds patterns into the psyche and body, because the body responds to the mind.

These patterns can be released depending on where they are held.

At The Energy Therapy Clinic here in Southern Queensland I have developed many protocols to help unwind these patterns.

Remember, they are established during survival periods and cause adaptation in the brain and body.

The effects of these need to be harmonised to the body can remember what is natural and what is not.

We survive violence is our own way, energetically it can be held in different parts of the body.

A collapsed state is more likely to be anchored in the Lower Dantien or sacral region, and undigested state in the solar plexus, and an anxious state in the chest cavity.

Tensions from all of these locations get reported as all kinds of symptoms, pain being the obvious one, but stagnation is very common, which can be reported as things like endometriosis ( blood stagnation) due often to suppressed subconscious liver rage.

The ultimate energetic centre for all concerned is the heart. For those with violent currents trapped within them, the shielding of the soul via the pericardium and heart fields is essential.

As spiritual beings they need a mechanism to shield them from the energies inhabiting them, and the pericardium heart protector plays this role.

That’s why some of their actions can be considered heartless, because the full vortex of their heart field truth is shielded into a defensive posture to survive and the holistic truth of their being is only partly present.

The heart is also protected in those experiencing violence, including animals.

This mechanism has been activated for most of them whilst helping them survive trauma and violence from others during previous experiences.

Violence like its counterparts of love and compassion do have cascading effects.

The rehabilitation of these individuals is centred on their spiritual being, and the eternal truths that are bound to a sacred child of god.

Once remembered or accepted, healing can begin.

Hope allows courage at the front of the heart to open and become active and faith allows trust at the back of the heart to open and support the courage required to face life’s challenges.

Energy therapy of the kind that we offer is some of the very best healing techniques that I have found so far, there are of course thousands of other wonderful ways to heal.

I believe nature was created for this very purpose, and the protection of nature over developmental greed should be a paramount consideration for human wellbeing.

Music is another medium, as are psychological tools like the I-Ching and Tarot - both of which are designed to show us where we are up to in our developmental journey.

It is the individuals responsibility to find and honour healing tools and pathways.

As families and communities it is our collective responsibility to recognise the damage that individual and institutional trauma imbeds in people and to honour the remedies.
